Romania is marketing euro-denominated bonds for the first time since a new government was approved, marking the country’s return to international markets after more than five months of political turmoil.
The offering includes bonds maturing in 2030 and 2034, along with 12-year green bonds, according to a person familiar with the transaction who asked not to be identified.
Initial guidance places the shortest-dated notes at around 210 basis points over mid-swaps. The eight-year bonds are being marketed at approximately 310 basis points over mid-swaps, while the green bonds carry initial guidance of about 360 basis points.
