Novo Nordisk CEO Mike Doustdar said he is optimistic about the potential launch of CagriSema, the company’s new obesity drug. He told Bloomberg Television that Novo hopes to receive timely approval from the US Food and Drug Administration by the end of the year, with a launch planned for early next year.
Doustdar spoke after Novo Nordisk raised its full-year forecast again. The company’s earnings have been supported by its new Wegovy pill and the older Ozempic injection.
