Northland maintained its Market Perform rating on Advanced Micro Devices after the chipmaker reported a solid quarter and issued strong guidance, according to analyst Gus Richard. The firm pointed to momentum in server CPUs and GPUs and steady demand for AMD’s embedded products.
AMD’s revenue grew nearly 40% over the past 12 months, while analysts expect growth of 47% for fiscal 2026. Northland raised its calendar 2027 estimates to match consensus, but said it does not expect all planned data center spending to materialize that year, citing tight availability of memory and funding. The firm also noted signs of XPU inventory accumulation.
Other recent analyst updates have included changes to AMD price targets while retaining positive ratings. UBS lowered its target to $700 from $730 and kept a Buy rating; Melius raised its target to $650 from $600, also maintaining Buy. Susquehanna reiterated its Positive rating and $650 target, while Wells Fargo cut its target to $650 from $700 but kept an Overweight rating. Raymond James raised its target to $649 from $641.
