Hong Kong’s fundraising boom is slowing as a growing share of stock listings are abandoned. About one in four deals failed to reach completion in 2026, the highest rate since the 2008 financial crisis, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

The rate rose to four in 10 during the 2008 meltdown. Several companies have recently withdrawn listings that were already under way, including robotics firm Changzhou Microintelligence Co. and software developer Shenzhen Forms Syntron Information Co.
