Grab Holdings announced on Tuesday that it is raising its annual revenue and profit projections for 2026, driven by sustained demand for its core mobility and delivery platforms. The Southeast Asian tech giant also highlighted the emerging strength of its financial services arm as a key catalyst for future expansion.
For the full year 2026, Grab now anticipates revenue to fall between $4.15 billion and $4.20 billion, an increase from its previous estimate of $4.10 billion to $4.15 billion. Concurrently, the company has adjusted its annual adjusted EBITDA forecast upward to a range of $790 million to $800 million, surpassing the earlier projection of $720 million to $740 million.
The upgrade follows a strong third quarter ending in September, during which Grab reported its first-ever core profit within its financial services segment. This milestone was achieved as more drivers and merchants on the platform utilized the company's loans, insurance plans, and other financial products. In terms of user engagement, Grab recorded a record 57 million monthly transacting users, marking an increase from 54 million just three months prior.
CEO Anthony Tan attributed this growth to targeted consumer promotions that boosted overall usage and driver incentives that expanded the active partner base. Tan noted that despite elevated fuel prices and regional macroeconomic headwinds, transaction volumes on the platform have reached unprecedented levels.
Financial results for the third quarter showed total revenue rising 27% year-over-year to $1.11 billion, exceeding analyst estimates of $1.07 billion according to LSEG data. Additionally, the gross merchandise value (GMV) across Grab's mobility and delivery units climbed 18% to $6.8 billion for the quarter. Following the announcement, Grab's shares gained more than 3% in extended trading, even as the stock has declined approximately 42% year-to-date.
